This week marked one year since I started working from home. It’s been a hard year, and I’ve had it easy compared to many, but still I’ve seen firsthand the toll of isolation, depression, economic hardship, marital stress, alcoholism, helpless loss and grief, within my family and circle of friends. There’s got to be some good to balance the bad. So it’s a little thing, but I started writing and producing songs, at home, at the beginning of the pandemic. I kept on going all year. And in a few weeks, I’m going to release my first EP. It’s called, “Like the Moon Draws the Water,” coming April 9. Even when we are isolated, we humans dream of connection. I hope my songs bring a little light to somebody’s world.
